Re: Abu Revo Gen 3
My first quality reel was an Abu Revo SX Gen 3. It can be finicky when casting and the thumb bar is hard to push down, but I still enjoy using it. Now that ICAST 2015 is over, I would like to read detailed reviews on the new spinning reels - MGX, Premier, and STX.

Re: Reeling Demographics... are you a righty or lefty
I'm right-handed and reel with my right hand using baitcast reels. Spinning, I use my left hand to reel. I think many Japanese anglers use their left hand to reel, if I'm not mistaken...thought that was interesting.

Re: Is it Daiwa, Shimano, or someone else?
Shimano guy here. I simply like their reels. New here on the forum and immediately I noticed quite a Diawa following.

Re: Gander mountain line
Any new opinions on it? From what I've gathered, it seems like the FC is thicker than its stated test strength vs others and the Braided line color may bleed off a bit. I've been curious to try their FC and Braided line...

Re: Sunglasses
Oakley Flak Jacket XLJ Black Iridium Polarized Asian Fit. One of few, perhaps only, well-known company that offers asian fit sunglasses. Most often both standard sunglasses and glasses slips down my nose bridge and pinches the temples. Therefore, Oakleys for me.

Re: Which is your favorite rod company?
Dobyns Rods. Great selection and series, fantastic customer service and warranty programs, quality blanks, sensitive rods, balances well, cork handles, priced reasonably, and looks nice.
