Re: new Tatula CT
Anybody wanna review the performance yet? Light lures? Also, does it sit much lower than the regular version? I'm still waiting for mine from TW's back order. Got two type r's on way and fully plan on giving them a serious shakedown cranking, spinnerbaiting, and jig fishing. Supposedly ill have the...

Re: boating tip cheap
I always have ski goggles in my boat for cold long morning runs. Its fairly common for tournament fisherman to have goggles on at blastoff.

Re: new Tatula CT
Why on earth they didn't give these a shallower spool is beyond me. Hopefully there will be an aftermarket or JDM version like the standard size reels. Because these are Reels designed for American bass fishermen. BFS is a tackle tour and a Japan "thing" for the most part. 16 and 20lb test flouro a...

Re: new Tatula CT
So with the Tatula CT, what on earth is the purpose of the Fuego at the exact same price point? I thought the new Fuego was kind of a letdown compared to what the old Fuego to begin with, but even comparing it to new models in the same range, it doesn't make a lot of sense to me, and doesn't seem l...

Re: 100 size reels for traps
Traps are actually low resistance baits. They don't require alot of torque from a reel to fish them. Their profile and their lack of a "diving bill" both make them easy on the fishermen and easy on the reel. I throw my traps on 8:1 reels. I'd never ever throw cranks or spinnerbaits on reels that fas...

Re: help with gears sticking
first things first, make sure you don't have a bit of line wrapped in the spool spindle, or shaft area. Give it a thorough cleaning. I once ended up with about 1cm of cut line between the pinion and a through spindle spool caused same type of issue your describing.

Re: HELP needed with Daiwa Zillion TW SV disassembling
I have had the same exact thing happen on one of my OG Zillion Type R's. I literally had to FORCE it by pulling and wiggling with far more force than I felt comfortable; but I was able to get it off and back on, I did minor damage to the last thread. Try pulling one piece at a time while rocking the...
