why did you go with a spinning tip guide ? on a casting tip guide the brace would be on the bottom ( spinning tip guide the brace is on the top like the one you have ) otherwise , nice rod build It's beneath blank. rod came out nice !! was really contemplating an MB 806 HM but can't get to much info on the blank , gonna stick to another Phenix Ultra 707

is there any upgrades to make the handle knobs spin better ? seems like they are really hampered by the bushing closest to the handle , any tricks or tips ???

called 13 fishing just now and Matt answered my question that the trickshop handle nut DOES work on both right and left hand reels

Point Blank is making some very fast blanks. St. Croix's blanks have been quite fast as well. I haven't had the ability to measure up an NRX blank since they're not available to builders. So, a factual analysis is something I can't provide. can you post some blanks that compare to point blank blank...
