Re: After 10 years in a kayak ...
The new Native catamaran style kayak hasn't been released yet but you can see a prototype of it on the company's website. It appears to be a simpler construct than a 360 featuring pontoons that can be adjusted while out on the water. So, it can be made "skinny or fat" on the fly. The 360's pontoons ...

Re: After 10 years in a kayak ...
Right, agree with uljersey's comments. The 360 was VERY stable and it also slid right up into the bed of my Toyota Tacoma since it tapers in a bit toward the bow. The only negative related to the 360, for me, was its pedal system is/was simply an under-performer. Slow, slow, slow. And, I didn't like...

Re: After 10 years in a kayak ...
Ha! Hogsticker! It'll be up to you. It so depends on how and where one fishes, I think. Having owned a Jackson Big Rig and A Bluesky 360, I must say that a Meyers is my favorite of the three by a long shot. So light, so versatile, better for camping loads, tandem fishing, standing and fishing so it ...

I used a 280 CM double bladed paddle. Worked gr...

Re: BlueSky Boatworks 360 Angler Review
Hmm, Warhawk, let me think here! It is very stable and has multiple sites for adding a TM, other power sources or a small outboard. Fits on the back of a truck (2016 Toyota Tacoma). No need for a trailer. Very light and a small kid could walk it down to the water to launch it. The seat is large and ...

Re: BlueSky Boatworks 360 Angler Review
Sorry for my delay . . . again. We just got back from a very long western USA road trip. 4,000 miles over 2 weeks! Well, yes, I have been out in fair winds, some chop but not enough to give any guidance based on actual experience. But, since it is a catamaran style vessel with 2 pontoons, it feels l...

Re: BlueSky Boatworks 360 Angler Review
Oops! Sorry I didn't see and respond faster to these posts. Yes, I really like the 360 but it is really more boat than kayak. What is so very interesting about it is it fits inside my Toyota Tacoma bed so no trailer needed for even smaller trucks. And, the tongue weight to carry it down to and off t...

The American version is made by Meyers. Just Google Meyers Sportspal and you'll see the website.
A lovely vessel for so many applications!

Re: How do I Care For My Kayak
I rinse mine off with a garden hose. Afterward, I like to take a lawn/leaf blower and blow it relatively dry to get all of the water out of the tracks, out of rod holders, etc. I take a cloth and give it a quick final drying and store it in my garage out of the sun. It makes a difference putting the...

Re: Best rod....
Well, just before Christmas St. Croix had a promotion on combos, both spinning and casting where the rods went by the name, Reign. The Spinning rod set up had an inexpensive reel and it went for $79 or $89 dollars, can't recall which. The casting combo went for $109. I had some gaps in my rod assort...

Re: $300 spinning rod for bottom contact techniques
WW, I haven't tried one yet. I did hear from another member here who sort of acts as a team pro a bit for G-Rods that the company altered its designs for the better. They had some issues related to tips as I recall. The issue was related to anglers sort of manhandling bass, swinging them in aggressi...

Re: Anyone use Nanofil w. 2lbs Fluoro/Mono leader?
I really like Nanofil though I have never used it with a leader. The only negative was my fault. I didn't use a backer or any tape on a spinning reel, got onto a really large fish, likely a catfish by the way it fought, and the whole mass of line spun on my reel. Again, user error but still the only...

Re: BlueSky Boatworks 360 Angler Review
For sure, just remove all links to TW and other sources for lures, lines, etc. I know how THAT goes, money spent on this and that! One thing I find rather compelling about this 360 is the fact that its catamaran style really opens it up for future conversions of all sorts. There will soon be an E-Dr...

Oh! And, no, I have no business/financial relationship with the manufacturer. I should have mentioned that in my review.
