Re: Yumeya 34mm Spool for Core100...etc
I have been thinking about trying to get a Yumeya spool for one of my Core100's for a while now. Well life happens and people pass away, so things get put on the back burner. Does anyone know how rare these spools are now and roughly how much they sell for? Any info would be greatly appreciated If ...

Re: Star drag and handle options, Scorpion XT?
Isn't the Scorpion 1500XT the JDM version of the Curado 200E? I believe it was produced from 2009-2013.

Re: The luckycraft RC .05, and other smaller squarebills.
I am a bit surprised that you are not getting bit on the Luck-e-Strike RC series 1. It has been a great bait for me. You are right, it is lighter at 1-1/2" and 1/8oz compared to the LC .05 which was 1-3/4" and 1/4oz. It's a shame they stopped making them. Another small squarebill that I am fond of i...

Core 100mg spool options?
I have 2 of the Yumeya Bfs mg 32mm spools for my Core 50 and Curado 50e's and I really like them. For a while now I have been thinking about getting a similar spool for my Core 100's. I know Yumeya made a 34mm spool that fits the Core 100 and Avail has two spools (Microcast Spool MT0725 and MT0739) ...

Re: Old Shimano Spool Weight
Yeah the old Curado 50E had an 11 gram spool. But the new 70 has a significantly shallower spool. So it may be a wash because the 70 can handle BFS lures respectably. I think Shimano did this on purpose to seperate the 70 from the Aldebaran 50 which has an 11ish gram spool. Shallower in what way? B...

Re: Shimano parts online to Canada
Just call the phone number on the Shimano website. Regardless whether you use the US number or the one they list for the Canadian office in Peterborough, you will be speaking to someone that is located in the US. It doesn't seem to matter as I just ordered a few items and was asking the very same qu...

Re: Shimano Scorpion xt 1000 7.7 to 1 gear upgrade
Instead of starting a new thread I thought I would just ask my question here as it's related.
Does anyone know what the IPT would be for the 7.7:1 gears? I know the 6.4:1 is 25 and the 7:1 is 28. Is 30 a safe guess?

Shimano Jdm VBS brake blocks
Does anyone know if the JDM VBS brake blocks (the clear or grey) are available anywhere in the US?
I know you can buy them from some of the Japanese sources but I am curious if there is a US source. Thanks

Re: Best compact Lowpro that can be purchased around $100?
Although I haven't fished one, I think the Tatula CT is tough to beat for the $85-$90 shipped that they sell for on the auction site.
