Flap Slap LBO

Anyone know if the SW version is actually heavier, or just heavier hooks/hardware? Some colors I'm interested in.

Thanks!

Re: Newer Reels

For us reel techs with decades of experience in servicing and tuning up reels for a living... Do reel techs wear capes? And you do know you can upgrade the D with newer parts right? Like get rid of the old AR you did not like and replace with a new design with no backplay you might actually like? I...

Re: Jackall Rerange 110

SG Threadfin. I was fishing Rising Sun last Sunday. The water was 47 - 49 degrees and the males were up in 4 to 6 feet range. No females yet but I suspect with the warm weather this week, they will pull up. Wow I grew up on that gem of a lake...now I'm up north jersey, was fishing 42-44F water, HL ...

Re: Jackall Rerange 110

I fished the Jackall Rerange 110 last Sunday and was impressed. I also fished a MB 110 and both baits caught the same number of bass. The Jackall casts very well. It makes a pretty loud click when casting. The tungsten ball inside breaks free from the magnet and travels to the tail causing the clic...

Re: Is there a better deep jerkbait than the staysee 90

I just tested out the new Lightning Staysee...I could not get it down to depth unless I wind slowly. The usual 4-5 quick cranks had the bait tracking sideways back to the surface. Seems to want to blow out on anything but the lightest twitches or pulls. It was windy and I was on my kayak, but so far...

Re: Antares 2019?

There are different levels of "relationships" these channels have with tackle companies...from outright sponsorships to "pro staff" (promotional staff lol) to access for reviews/sneak peaks. Sounds like Tim and Matt have an on-and-off first access to some Shimano reels...and this they have disclosed...

Re: Terminal Tackle Help

I would really like to try single hooks on hardbaits sometime, are there any distinct advantages or disadvantages??? The advantages are obvious: safety for yourself and the fish...how many tail trebles find their way into gills and eyeballs and fingers? One tackle variable that opens up by switchin...

Re: Terminal Tackle Help

As far as rings go, I assume the #2 Owner Hyper Wires work for the most part??? There really aren't many rings I would consider an upgrade outside of the mentioned Owner's or SPRO rings. Never tried the VMC on Tacklewarehouse, but they are cheaper for sure. If you're looking for quality smaller spl...

Re: Antares 2019?

Was cool to see the new Poison Adrena in that TB video. That rod certainly looked sweet! And to those who say TB is "all about paid links"...that hardly seems fair since they haven't been brand loyal when it comes to gear at all, and a channel with their viewership/trajectory can easily be selling ...

Re: What’s your Finesse spinning rod?

Expride 7' light with stella 2500s Just picked up a 6'10ML from Gary at TT...it was in stock for about 8 hours lol. Any chance you have that one to compare to the 7'L? The 610ML, fwiw, is exactly what I'm looking for in a finesse spinning rod, 4 - 6lb line. And I see a lot of Stellas paired to Expr...

Re: Best braid to fluoro connection knot?

FG is a terrible knot for light line applications. For one, many of the "nano" braids are very slick and biting into light floro leader is difficult. But more importantly, a single-strand finger-trap style knot...requires a fair bit of tensioning to bite properly. The last thing you want to do is pr...
