Re: Help with PX-R Setup
I had the same problem and I just had to change my casting stroke. I had to just let the reel do the work, instead of trying t power it, like I did with my Shimano's. I think that the Daiwa spools just spin faster and have a lower start up inertia. Once you get used to the Daiwa, you will never go b...

Re: Rod for pixy
Sorry about my spelling, should be Kistler. They make great light rods, H3, Zbone , and KLX would be a good choice.

Re: Rod for pixy
I have my Pixy's on Kislter H3 Light action 7', and Kislter Z-Bone Light 7", and unfortunately I don't think they make them anymore in the Light action, but you might be able to order a custom. Anyway, I would suggest a light weight rod, for such a light reel. Just my 2 cents. I love Pixy's!

Re: Daiwa Liberto Pixy
That one looks pretty nice, but if you keep looking, you might find better. I found a flawless yellow pixy a while back and love it. I would love to put in one of those shallow spools. Are they good quality? They seem like a great price!

Re: I ain't one to gossip - Jackson Rods!!!
Jrob - I have been looking at the Daiwa SS air reels and I think that is going to pair up perfectly with the 63ML Trickster. I put a new Daiwa PX Type R on mine and it feels and balances very nice! Now, I am thinking about dressing up the PX Type R, with some purple components to match up with the r...

Re: I ain't one to gossip - Jackson Rods!!!
Hey Guys! I just got my Jackson Trickster 64L and it is one sweet rod! The 64L, was exactly what I was looking for and I could not be happier with how it looks and feels! Thanks to the Tackle Trap, for such great service! I would pay twice as much for one of the Tricksters. This rod is perfect! I wi...

Re: Value bfs rod
Hi there,
Can anyone point me in the right direction of where to buy a Jackson Trickster or Major Craft BFS? I have 2 Daiwa PX Type R reels just waiting for the right rods. Thanks for any info!
