Re: Alphas CT 70 in stock at Digitaka!

Guys, I'm just asking here. Considering the line limitations of the regular spool in the 70 series reels. how much line would you expect a shallow spool to hold?

Re: UL BFS Rod Lengths - please suggest

I have built several BFS rods on ultra light spinning blanks and they work great. The length does somethings much better than a short rod. I do not, by and large, fish tiny creeks and in the larger creeks/small rivers that I fish the extra reach works great. I have a couple that are built on dropsho...

Re: Forgive me daiwa

I kind of think anyone who thinks one brand has a monopoly on quality interesting products has been living in a cave. I have a Bantam and love it also have a Tatula SV and love it. I'm sure that I am not the only one that mixes it up. Brand loyalty, is silly, be it fishing equipment or cars.

Re: Looking for a MH Spinning Rod w/ Moderate Action...

St. Croix makes a couple. Both show up as walleye rods, 7ft MH moderate action. One is a Eyecon at $120 the other is a Legend Tournament at $260. I am sure there or other rods to meet your needs these are just a couple of suggestions.

Re: What's REALLY next for Daiwa

You know what, just because you don't like the message it is not the messengers fault. Will this price hold up, maybe not, but it is what Daiwa is saying at this time. I for one find it very curious that the Japan sites list the price much lower than the US stores are told it will cost. At this poin...

Re: What's REALLY next for Daiwa

Does it seem "funny" to anyone else that the new Daiwa has the brake control on the bottom and the new Shimano has the control on the side plate. Makes no difference just seems like things came full circle. Well would like to see and handle all them. Wish both manufacturers would send more...

Re: What's REALLY next for Daiwa

Why is it going up? No idea, but the latest price list from Daiwa shows a price increase. Any dealer who is going to order new reels will pay the higher price. I have no idea if this was/is across the board or just on the Steez. I really don't have any great inside information just was told that the...

Re: What's REALLY next for Daiwa

You do know that if the price of ..... ah... gas that your local station sells, that is the price they have to buy it for, goes up. They don't wait until they have sold all the old gas they had previously to raise the price. They raise the price. That is the way it works for milk at the grocery or p...

Re: What's REALLY next for Daiwa

Guys we can debate it all we want but if the retail stores have to pay more we probably will also. I'm interested to see if the price holds up on Digitaka. It is easy to advertise a price on something you don't have.

Re: What's REALLY next for Daiwa

If you are ordering "new" reels as opposed to ones you already have in stock the price has increased. I would expect we will all see an increase in the price of the Steez, both current models. At this point the Steez CT is an addition not a replacement, or that is what it appears to me. Ob...

At this point you can order the Steez CT, Steez SV TW, and the Steez A. Anything past right now is just a guess.

If I could get my hands on a dozen of those yellow Tats I think they would sell in the US. Kind reminds me of the yellow Pixys.
