Re: NANOFIL HATERS

From my experiences, I would still use a leader. Tying direct will cause problems. Lost too many baits.

Re: NANOFIL HATERS

I use Nanofil 12 lbs. test on a Shimano Stradic 2500 Ci4+ and a 7' medium St. Croix rod. I likely would have bought 8 or 10 test if it were available at the time I was at the store. I kept the previous line, Sufix Elite mono on as a backer, tied a uni-to-uni knot to more Nanofil than I can cast, an...

Re: NANOFIL HATERS

Learn the FG knot and the alberto will be consigned to history. Amazingly strong knot and surprisingly reliable with nanofil to leader connections. I have a love hate with nanofil. It is undoubtedly great line for light spinning reels, but it seems more fragile than similar diameter braids. I was u...

Re: JDM supplier

I agree but they also appear to have things available that no one else has. Example the Viola (very expensive at 920.00  ) and the SRD at 535 (fairly competitive) which I have seen priced for a lot more here in the US. Thoughts?

Re: Bait Finesse Ultimate Competition

OMG what a sweet looking reel! After fishing in the rain earlier this week I oiled my SS and my T3 Air and played around with the spools. The SV spool will fit in the Air but the inductor cup is thicker on the SV spool. You may want to look closely at it and let us know how it casts. I plan on doing...

Re: Best NRX for weightless wackyworm

My NRX 893c is a great senko rod, if a baitcaster interest you. Originally I wanted to throw it on a baitcaster but I have a hell of a time getting the lure out more than 10 yards. I've tried it on my steez, alphas, mgx, t3, t3mx, fx68, and px68. I finally accepted the fact if I want hassle free fi...

Re: 2015 Conquest 100 vs 200

Anyone put these in action yet? Hard to decide between the 2. The 100 is the right weight but a bit shy on line capacity for 15 lb flouro and the 200 is a bit heavy but has good line capacity for 15lb test. Don't let the weight deter you. Both of the are lighter than my MB Lin 10 and all 3 are ligh...

Re: Show off your Megabass rods...

It's funny, that Lin & SRD don't go together at all, and yet- they look fantastic together! I'm a big fan of contrasting colors- they look awesome paired up =D> He probably would have got a Lin 10 Mars, but they don't make it in a lefty. It is an awesome combo. When I found the reel at MB Outlet I ...

Re: THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS!!!

OMG I am so jealous. :evil22: One day I'll be there but my choice will be a Gambler. Gambler makes a nice boat, very "classy" rides. My new 2015 Phoenix 920 pro xp just arrived so I've been preoccupied with getting it rigged and modded. I'll post some pics soon. :big grin: DUDE! ! It is time to qui...
