kistler rods are great i have two a klx and a helium. They are rated a little under power, I would check out the klx 7'6" extra heavy. it has a moderate fast action that i have found to work better for frogs. tight lines

Thanks im interested in the 300/400 tranx, some of the other manufacturers reels that are low profile in the 400 size are really big. Would you say the the 400 is the same size as the curado 300? thanks

Is the frame that much larger between the 300 and 400? Also does the 400 come with just the large power handle? thanks

I have had a klx spinning rod full grip since they have came out. Great rods sensitive and tough.

I found my one in the Power Tackle paragon pg104. The rod is great for everything, Built on a nfc blank an very sensitive.

The new sv spools hold 100 yards of 14lb test. I am interested in getting one for top water and jerkbaits. I plan on using 12-14lb l am worried that on really long cast it may not hold enough line. Any info on this would be appreciated. Thanks

Anyone have the 6'8" rod for jerkbaits? I am looking at this model for jerkbaits like the megabass vision 110 and some topwater use. Any feed back is much apperciated, Thanks
