Re: Daiwa SV103 or 50th Anniversary opinions

If you're open to the idea of the old 50th Anniversary Zillion, why not go on the hunt for a JDream? Daiwa "created" the SV103 after the Zillion TWS debacle and it's always felt like an afterthought to me. If you want the pinnacle in that Zillion platform, the JDream is it. Cal, I have a ...

Re: NEW: Daiwa Tatula 100 (based off Steez)

At 1:07, you can see "Tatula" on the reel seat of what looks to be a new line of Tatula rods :D

Re: Bantam MGL Who has their hands on one?

In the last month, I have casted the Metanium MGL, Chronarch MGL, and the Bantam MGL on the same rod using 30 pound braid on each, and I can cast further, with less effort using the Bantam MGL than the other two. It's a little heavier, but palms better and feels like a quality reel. Needless to say...

Looks beautiful. Very nice work. Reminds me of the colors of an heirloom tomato and that's a good thing.

Great looking kayaks! I have a Tarpon 100 that I haven't had out of the water yet to compliment my Old Town Predator MX. Best wishes on the water!

Re: Daiwa Steez SV 103XSL

They are out of production and out of stock but occasionally you see one for sale. Over the long run, I think you would be better with it than the Steez SV103XSL.

Re: Daiwa Steez SV 103XSL

Why don't you just wait for a used SV103XSL to come back up for sale and re-buy one?

Re: Old school flat rubber

The guy tying the jig in the video is actually a well respected contributor to this website. The point of him taking that long is to show others how to do it which is sort of what that type of informative video is all about. I respect the fact that you probably tie and awesome jig and would love to ...

Re: Old school flat rubber

So in other words, you are saying you can build them and advertising that only you can build this certain type of jig with material readily available, and you are going to simply reintroduce your website for show? Am I missing something here? Thanks anyways and good luck with whatever you are planni...
