Re: Floating soft bait for Carolina Rig?
I'm not sure if this is going to be the answer you were looking for...but I think the bait suspending off the bottom is a big misconception about a Carolina Rig. Reality is, you can Carolina Rig with just about any soft plastic you can think of. Senkos, Trick Worms, Brush Hogs, Craws, Flukes, etc.....

Floating soft bait for Carolina Rig?

So I was looking for some floating soft bait but there are tons of brands and baits, some do not mark their bait as floating or sinking. Any recommendations will be really helpf...

Re: major craft speed style??
I have this rod. The model is SSC-S642L/BF. And I bought it from Japan for about $160. It has nano carbon blank and X carbon band. However, the X carbon band is not braided up to tip, only about 1/3 of the rod. The new fuji reel seat is quite good, but a little bit less comfortable than Shimano's. I...

Re: New Zillion swimbait rod
Welcome to Chicago! I would try to call Lee's bait and tackle to see if they have one in store. Not a big market in this area for a large swimbait rod. The top one has a very similar look to the Steez xt. The one on the bottom is very similar to the tatula reel seat. I live in Chicago and can't thi...

Re: New Zillion swimbait rod
Holding the Zillion rods in stores, I actually like the first reel seat better. DaveJ I just moved to the States and I have no idea where I can see them in store  I currently live in Chicago area, and I will travel to Portland next week. Is there any big chain stores that sell this stuff? Bass...

Re: Steez LTD TN knobs
Yet, it will survive far more longer than you thought. Mine's TN has been used for about 30 times fishing and it still remain intact. If you want to add this reel to your collection, buy a new one and never use it cause the surface is so vulnerable that it will left scratches almost immediately when...

2015 new Metanium DC should be a very wise choice. I have read some reviews form japan and known it is a very good all-around reel for bass fishing. Left hand will be on sale on April.

Re: What's the spool weight of JDM new zillion tw?
I am not sure about the spool weight but you can get the JDM version cheaper than the U.S. version. It is less than $245.00. http://jpangler.com/index.php/daiwa-zillion-tw.html nice guy you are! I know I can also a UDM in Ebay for $229, but now with only 16 boxes more I could own a JDM, that's exci...

What's the spool weight of JDM new zillion tw?
I am considering to purchase a new zillion tws(tw in JDM version) The UDM version has a cheaper price than JDM version. Although JDM has 1 magsealed bearing and the others are CRBB, I want to use it in freshwater so the UDM is ok. Also, they have the same line capacity(UDM is a litter shorter) . The...
