Re: Used curado DC in salt
Fish my curado dc in salt all the time, it's really not a big deal. Use a light mist instead of a high pressure spray to rinse it down. Break it down for a deep clean if you dunked it, otherwise it does great in the salt.

Re: Pixy now a Pixzilla
I second the 7lb sunline sniper, what I always use on my pixies. Just bought a spool of sunline shooter finesse special on a whim, hoping its amazing; 36 bucks for 109 yards while tatsu is $40 for 200 yards. Rod wise I'd say go with an ultra light if you have a tuned pixy, alphas sv has everything e...

Re: Rod for 1/16 jigs and soft plastics.
Won't lie, the initial impression of the hyuga seems like it will be the perfect action for those small keitech jigs I plan to throw. I have never used a Kistler, but I'd like to hear your report if you end up with one.

Re: Help with Bait finesse or BFS setups
I've not used the lew's you're referring too, but looking at the line capacity I would say get a different reel unless you have a really educated thumb. 1/8 ounce and up http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Daiwa_SV105_Casting_Reels/descpage-D5SV.html Under 1/8th https://japanlureshop.com/reel/daiwa/daiwa...

Re: Rod for 1/16 jigs and soft plastics.
Food for thought, you can order Major Craft speedstyle off the American website, think shipping was around 30 bucks for the cheapest option. Was recently looking for a similar rod, but ended up with a Megabass Hyuga 64L from the tackle trap. Received it today, so no reports on it yet.

Re: Jackson Trickster Spinning Rod
Legit Design looks very similar to the Super Trickster, or perhaps a Major Craft speedstyle for a bit more of a stealth look.

Re: Daiwa aftermarket Spools
Will the upcoming ZPI spools fit an SV103, or just the steez/zillion tws reels? Sorry if it's a dumb question, very new to these platforms, but they are some nice looking spools :big grin: http://tackletrap.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=898_2347_2496&products_id=11256&zenid=528a65295152...

Re: Spinning Reels
Shimano Stradic is a good option; if you prefer something a bit lighter and cheaper, a pflueger supreme xt. 119 bucks for a magnesium framed spinning reel with carbon fiber handle on Amazon, pretty good deal. My only gripe with the pflueger is that the bail is hard to close by hand in one certain sp...

Re: Spinning REEL - Kastking vs Shimano
Pflueger Trion is a nice, cheap spinning reel. Over 15 years of abuse on mine, and still performs flawlessly. Or check out http://www.ffo-tackle.com for some refurbished gear.

Beautiful fish, and that's one chubby bluegill!! Always a blast catching a few of those on some ultralight tackle.

Re: Jackson rods JPY ?
Really nice rods for the money, have a Bastard BTC-631L and a Super Trickster Bait Finesse Plugging Funny bought from the tackle trap. Nice sensitivity, quality components, and they look nice; I'd buy them all day long at their price point.
