Just had to put that as a topic. My question is when you are checking out a perspective rod in a store what is your best test for sensitivity? I have always like putting the rod up against a friends voice box and having them say the same thing a few times then trying a different rod. What do ya'll do?

Yeah I think the non HG is like 26" ipt or so? As long as it is able to stand up to the drag of a bait I think I may have to try one out.

Have you tried any of the Lucky Craft Shingo series? I don't recall the name of the specific lure but they make one extremely similar.

I recently aquired this reel through a trade. It is pimped out in Hedgehog dress parts and Yumeya knobs. Though it is amazing I don't know that I am a BFS guy, I like using my spinning tackle for the lighter stuff and always have. So any good alternative ideas on what I could do with it? Not trying ...

I remember when a bunch of us ordered on the giant sale from Japan this winter and someone found out they were shipping in cardboard boxes. I actually was pleasantly surprised with the rigidity of them. PVC is the safest. Cardboard tubes weaken fast and get re-used way too often.
