Re: Steez SV TW castability compared to Tat SV TW

hmmm... well since the O.P. asked about casting and in 3 pages nobody actually mentioned distance I guess I will try to share my experience. I like testing and comparing things fairly. I own a steez sv tw, and a tat sv tw. One day I put them both on the same rod , both were spooled with the same li...

If it helps any body, just put 155m of 30lb sufix 832 on the new 1520 zillion. 1m of backing on spool.

Re: New kayaks!!

Is an inflatable jacket allowed where you are? No back on most, just a couple of straps.

Re: Looking for some walkie talkies

A lot of the newer PLBs have a message function where you can directly message friends, family, or the authorities. World wide coverage so no limit on signal.

Re: Long distance spool for sv103

Those of you looking for spool storage options; if you know someone with a machine shop, mechanic etc, a lot of the taps etc that they use, come in heavy duty screw style packaging. Similar to the proprietary spool cases the reel companies used to supply but heavy duty and probably for free.

X3.
If it is about the Zero bearing reel, haven't used one, but the ones for sale locally feel very low quality. Knock a heap of money from the price and they may get a few people willing to risk a purchase.

Pics seem to show slant goes to one side. Are they available for both sides, or only one? Thanks.

Re: balancing rods

Most people go through life playing sports with tools that aren't usually a great fit for them. They never really get to feel the highest level of performance. I'm not one of those people. The fishing rod is much like a golf club in that someone that spends a lot of time with it will be able to tel...

Re: Daiwa Lexa 300 CC

Has anyone reviewed these yet? cant find any info and only a few retailers are supplying which makes me a bit scared... Is that the bait clicker model? Bought 2 and hated them. Line lay is literally the worst I have ever seen. Line guide travels back and forth twice as fast as any reel I have ever ...

At around this time Ian Miller was using, in his words, "a GL3 like material", so potentially the blank is of this nature.
