Re: Spiderwire Ultracast Ultimate Braid
For 6 years i was fishing with SPIDERWIRE ULTRACAST 6 lb.,10 lb.green and yellow on spinning reel and i can say is very good braid.
I don't fish with braid over 10 lb.,and ULTRACAST 10 lb. is tinnier comparative with SUFIX 832,POWER PRO SLICK for the same lb. test.

Re: New Braided line choice...???
Sufix 832 or Spiderwire. You'll find a lot of prejudice against Spiderwire on these boards - I don't know why. I've never had any issues with it. Any. I use for frogs, swimbaits, and flipping. Love 832 after about 2 days on the water. Spiderwire Ultracast Ultimate braid is one of the best feeling b...

Re: Favorite jigs?
Nice flounder. I just picked up a couple of bags of 1/16 oz. Gamakatsu jigs with size 1 black hooks for both the Yamamoto 2 inch grubs and the Ecogear Grass Minnow. I used Pro-Tec powder paint to paint them black, then baked them in the oven to harden the finish. They feel sharp. I am looking forwa...
