Used a 6.4 scorpion xt1000 last season frequently for all kinds of techniques. Didnt really think about the gear ratio. Handled everything fine. Picked up a 6.3 J Dream the other day i cant wait to use

Its all going to bear down to what you are looking to get in the reel. They all dont do the same things, and depending on manufacturer will vary what makes them $200 to $400. But lets be real. 30 to 40yds is max of what youll need in a true fishing scheme, and thats achievable easily with most spools. Whats really the factor is the control and ease. Anyone got their hands on one of these yet? My local basspro only has one in stock and its a spinning rod. The rod feels very nice tho. Light. Looks well made. Conaidering picking up a casting model but wanted to hear some feedback first

Hows the reel seat on these ? A few reviews on TW mention not likeing the reel seat, saying the reel seemed to fit too far up from the handle or somwthing. Just curious im considering one of these myself

Question: why do some of u prefer the chronarch mgl with your moving bait setups over say the met mgl or 13 met? Asking becuz im gonna order either a Met MGL or Chronarch MGL for a moving bait setup -keitechs,small cranks,etc. Should i go Chronarch?
