Re: Drag upgrade?

Smooth drag! They have a kit to change out the drag for a 3 stack setup, it works great.

Re: TDX 100hsd

WOW, great eye! =D> I did wonder why that drag washer was keyed. I'll call daiwa tomorrow and order a proper collar.

Re: TDX 100hsd

Orientation of the gear shaft collar didn't affect the seating depth on the driveshaft. The bearing seats nice and flush without the last metal drag washer installed. ](*,) The drive gear doesn't key into anything under it. Re: TDX 100hsd

I'll check the orientation of the gear shaft collar, I think I tried it both ways. The bearing I ordered from daiwa, unless they grabbed the wrong one it should be correct. A bunch of parts were missing below the handle, parts 78-81, 83 and 85 from the schematic. http://www.daiwaweb.com/us/service/manuals/image/baitcasting...

Re: BFS Hunting

I'm new to the BFS game, I'm surprised to see you're getting equal distance out of casting and spinning gear at 1/16th oz. I did back to back casting of a bare 1/8th oz jig head and got 35-40 paces with spinning gear and could only muster 20-25 paces with my casting gear. I definitely need to work o...
