Re: GLX MBR843C vs Poison Adrena 611 Medium+ for T-rigs
If you like long handles the glx is for you. I've never had a glx 843 but I have the 842 and I had the 6'11" Adrena. I like the taper on the glx more

Re: Looking for a slightly more powerful and versatile rod than the NRX+893c
I had the conquest 903c and didn't care for the soft tip that bends deeper than the nrx893

Re: New NRX / GLX
With your current line up I'd pick a nrx 842c it will do it all on the lighter side

Re: Casting Ned Rig rod
I use a conquest and glx 842c but the lowest weight is 1/10 oz net + trd My favorite new Ned and Shaky head set up is a GLX 842 and an Alphas Air TW, 8lb braid to 8lb FC leader for Neds and 10lb with a shaky head. It's such a great combo. It can do everything on the lighter side.they should be rate...

Re: It’s 2018, why are you buying reels from the past
I bought a glx bcr 893 this week for a good deal. Rod is in excellent condition so I removed cork foregrip and customized it to look more up to date and put a alde mg7 on it. I love the Shimano 50 frames they are just perfect to me. For a combo from around 2009 that setup will hang with anything I c...

Re: New Shimano high end baitcasting reel?
I have all 3 and the bantam. The alde works fine but has a super cheap feel to me. The met is my favorite for all around fishing and throws lite stuff good on the right rod. I would use a bantam for any heavy and high resistance baits. The antares is the smoothest but heavy for a smaller reel and mi...

Re: New Steez A II vs High End Shimano’s
If tried the high end DC reels, a few Steez, some high end Abu reels and the new Zillions BUT at the end of the day, the jdm Metanium reels around $250ish was a no brainer. I kinda sucks using the same reels all the time but “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” really applies to the Metaniums. I’ve fi...

Re: Your most versatile rod?
This has probably been asked before, but what is the most versatile rod in your current rod line-up and what have you used with it? I'll start... Megabass XX Gen 1 EMTF - Its the best rod I've owned for swim jigs (1/4-3/8), swimbaits (keitech style) on a jighead (1/4-3/8), weightless senkos and flu...

Re: GLX MBR843C vs GLX MBR842C for T-rigs
I own the 842c in glx and conquest and the glx is softer than the conquest but both rods are to light for that total weight. I'd reach for my ,893
