Shouldn't a $500 rod be balanced to start with? :lol: I believe Mattman said on here a while back that the actual blank on these rods is not extraordinary in itself. If you're going to spend $500 on the rod and then pay a builder to modify it I'd just build a true custom from the ground up on a hig...

on the site there are some helium 3 full handle rods.
and I think much better rods for that money then an orochi x4 at 400 bucks IMO!!

i had the curado 201 e and that was an very good reel,for my pike and even catfish.
the only thing that kept me from buying a curado g was "made in malaysia" as the (early)e was "made in japan"!
