So 5 out of my 7 Tatulas (after 1 year) have the grooving issue on the T-Wing. I noticed my line started fraying causing me to lose fish. I actually like the gear speed since I use it for swimbaits.

I love these baits and all Spotsticker's other choices.

It is the brake drum. The manual says you have to oil it after every 5 uses. Mainly happens with 2 brakes engaged. Turn it to 1 and it will stop most of the time. Yes it is a nuisance and a $179 reel shouldn't have this issue.

I actually looked at mine last night and it was still perfect. weird. I will keep an eye on mine for sure.
