Hello, I was wondering if somebody could tell me if the Shimano Stella model STL2500HGS-FI is a JDM exclusive reel, or if it was offered for sale in North America as well? I have contacted one, but they did not have the part available. This was an authorized Shimano warranty and service provider, but wasn’t Shimano Shimano direct. The last time I tried to contact them they never got back to me. Maybe I’ll try them again...

Oh I am looking for the actual brake block or braking mechanism itself, not the brake weights.....

Hello, I am in search of a Shimano calcutta 400a brake block. I tried to remove one from an old grenniencurado, but it is slightly taller than the calcutta. Does anybody know of another Shimano reel that might be more abundant for parts that would share the same size brake block?? Thanks for the help!

Usually....definitely not always. You should know that !

My opinion is that they are likely very similar, however not the same. I would try a few newer ones to see if it provides the same results.....however if the old ones are actually cheaper,then stick with what you know and save $$

I’m thinking the top one, and maybe the squarebill is yah. The squarebill if it didn’t have the Dow turned eye and round line tie, I would have definitely guessed lucky craft USA series...

I flipped the idle gear and it didn’t make any difference...so I assume it requires new drive and pinion as expected. Probably had weird wear pattern like out of alignment tires on a vehicle.
