Re: Ned Rod choices - P5 / NRX+ / AGS
Now I want to try one even though I have the NRR  What's the perceived upper limit of this rod? (The documented weight range is 1/32 - 5/16oz, similar to the NRR.) I've fished up to 9g total weight on the Steez "The Ned" and that's the upper limit for me. That weight puts a slight but noticeab...

Re: 2021 steez ags rods
Thanks for uour response. So is the Xbites more similar to "the sensor" then? Yes, I find those two to be more comparable than X-Bites to the Utility Player. They are definitely closer in power with the Sensor still having a faster action. Would love more info on Daiwa Steez AGS STAGS6101LXS-SMT “N...

Re: New Expride - no 7'6 or BFS models
JDM models are already available. I have the new 166XH-SB short swimbait stick and love it! Amazing quality for the $$ What's the casting range on that rod? I have been looking at the various 6'6" JDM swimbait rods for a while now but have never found much info in english about them. Rated to 5oz m...

Re: New Poison Glorius
Any new Glorious owners able to compare with 2nd generation Poison Glorious? Anything noticeable that jumps out at you? I had the older 66M poison glorious rod a few years back. My new rod is the 2021 64MH. Full carbon grip, new reel seat, M40 carbon blank, and much much lighter in hand over all. F...

Re: New Poison Glorius
I started a thread a few months ago about these. The Glorious series is my jam. The blank upgrade (1100g/mano I think) is great, but I was shocked to see they shrank the lineup....only 1/3 or even 1/4 of the models they used to make. Sad. I don't think I can call them the 'japanese glx' anymore wit...

Re: New Poison Glorius
I have one of the new 64MH casting rods on the way from Japan. I chose the model for my jig and worm action off the kayak. Most my targets are close range when I am creeping in the yak so this should be a sweet JDM addition. Haha. Can’t wait to try it out.

Re: NRX+ Recoil Guides
I like the recoil guides for the weight and durability. I will add something that I experienced just the other day on my NRX+ 883c BJR casting model. I was using braid to flourocarbon leader and threw my first cast. Instant backlash (worst ever) and confusion. As I was dealing with my new found mess...

Re: Have you fished the NRX+ BLADED JIG Rod?
Only had one trip in with the new NRX+883 BJR. I was impressed at the versatility so far. As it sits I would be comfortable throwing chatterbaits, spinnerbaits, shallow diving squarebills, weightless senkos, swim jigs, top waters, etc. just my initial thoughts though and need more time on water. Sma...
