Re: Tokyo Rig
"goldrod" - nice to see your input. Feider was kind of comparing this rig to a power dropshot. Did you notice any increase in the number of bites or quality of bites while using this rig?

Re: Tokyo Rig
I might have to check this rig out. Just watched a YouTube video with S. Feider and he seemed to like it and said several positive things about fishing it.

Re: —Daiwa Catalina TW 4.9:1–
Does anyone know the Catalina bearing size(s) for the side plate & spool? Per the HH website, it's saying 3x10x4 and 5x11x4. Is this correct? The one bearing doesn't look like a 5x11x4 (looks smaller). Thought I should double check with everyone before making a purchase.

Re: Low Profile Baitcaster With Brass Gears
I hadn't heard of the Shimano Engetsu. I also didn't see it on some of the more familiar Japanese websites. Maybe this reel is from Australia.

Re: Low Profile Baitcaster With Brass Gears
Thanks eveyone for your input. I pulled the trigger on the Daiwa Catalina. I'm not sure if it has brass gears, but I couldn't pass up on the price.

For those of you that own the new red Scorpion MGL, what are the gears made of (brass or aluminum)?

Re: U-40 pros and cons
I agree 100% with "Hogsticker2's" comment about the magic eraser. They work really well. I'm not a big fan of the U-40 product. The cork grips that I've held after this product was applied felt slick and slippery. Maybe it's just me.
