Re: Daiwa Rebellion Rods 2020
I handled them while I was in Japan. They certainly have a high end, JDM look to them and they feel nice as well. jmd - that 610MHRB is exactly that, I had my eye on it as well, and it feels like an awesome target casting spinner bait/chatter bait type rod that will double as a fantastic full sized...

Re: Hard Swim or Glide Baits
S-wavers are a great place to start, very affordable and readily available pretty much anywhere. All hard swimbaits are fished differently and some require you to impart the action while others have action all on their own. You can break hard swims down to 3 categories: glide baits like S-Wavers, li...

Re: Daiwa Project T 2020
Daiwa' s site is now showing the Rebellion line of rods. Anyone know when these might be available?! https://www.daiwa.com/us/contents/rods/rebellion/index.html They are officially up for Pre-Order now along with Tatula SV TW 103 and Zillion 10 at The Tackle Trap. Detailed info and dates are availa...

Re: J-Dream spool replacement
Another vote for the 100m spool, if you can find one... HLC is rad too, also getting hard to find, it's also lighter than the 100m. I have a stock Zillion 100ha spool I'm not using if you need something to get you by for awhile.

Re: Steez xt frog rod?
I have mine paired with a Zillion SV and it balances nicely as well. Love the rod for jigs as well but it mostly doubles as my punching rod, alot easier and more accurate to punch with all day than the more traditional 7'6" - 8' rods.

Re: Sufix Mono Question
What Randingo said. Pro mix does not have g2 winding as well as the Super 21 found at Dick's. Also, I have 3000 yard spools of Elite and those are not g2 wound either, I'd love to see that though. The only big advantage I see to that winding process is it's mush easier to put line on a spinning reel...

Did you try Boca Bearings? I know they make AR bearings and they may have the size you need.

Re: single hooks on cranks
The owner single replacements are awesome. I started experimenting with them on bigger jerkbaits fishing for stripers and immediately had confidence in them. What I really like about them is the bait doesnt walk down the fish after its played for while. If they get the front hook theyre stuck, and t...

All of the above and my inflatable life vest. Hadn't worn a life vest in years until I bought one of these. Well worth the money and I don't even notice I have it on. I end up driving home with it on half the time...

Re: Fish Finder
It's hard to beat the Humminbird Helix series for value. You won't likely get more than a 5" screen and sonar at that pricepoint. I was in your shoes about a month ago and decided to go with the helix 5. I have a 898 on the console and the 5 up front and don't really notice the difference in screen...

Re: Loomis GL2 Discontinued?
except for folks who fish more than just bass, the GL2 had a wide product offering covering more lengths and weights.... we use the gl2 1266C models for lake ontario dipsy rods.... they released the blank in the crappy e6x model, without a cork handle....website says the graphite grips add durabili...

Re: Buzzbait Storage
This is a good idea and Wht I've been leaning towards... I too have a harder time with the double buzzes than the singles as I have more doubles. Thanks for your input.

Buzzbait Storage
These are the only baits I have a hard time storing and keeping organized. Ive tried a few different spinnerbait/buzzbait boxes but they either don't fit or I can only fit a couple in them. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for any info.
