Original Daiwa Cielo 6'10" drop shot rod
I broke about half inch off my Daiwa titanium tip drop shot rod. There's not enough spacing to just replace the tip. Should I just put a tiptop where the second guide is or take off second guide and adjust the length to accommodate a new tip minus one guide? Does anyone have experience repairing the...

Re: Tatula Signature Series
Does anyone know anything about the new Takahiro 7'3" H texas rig rod vs the 7'3" XH? Both rods are rated exactly the same on the Daiwa website. Is the XH the one similar to his original Elite pitching rod and the new H action a softer action pitching rod? I am wondering if these are modeled after t...

Think I saw the rods you were talking about and looks like there will be a 7'5" H rod but he lure and line weight look interesting.

I too am excited and curious about this. Wonder what the price range will be. Would love to see int around $150 or less but guessing by the specs it's a $200 +.

Any new Daiwa releases this summer?
Does anyone know if Daiwa debuting any thing new this summer? I know there is the rebellion rod, redesigned procyon and redesigned fuego rods that debuted at the classic. Will there be any new action tatula elite rods coming to existing line up or any other redesigns or new line of rods?

Re: light side of 7' m/mh tatula elite?
Is that Tak's All-Around spinning rod? If so, it will handle them fine. I have one of them and I love it. The rod is "different" though. The rod casts like a medium, but the hook set feels like a soft MH if that makes any sense. I've used mine for shooting docks for crappie with a 1/16 oz head with ...

Tatula elite power spin vs cronos 7'2" cronos mh spinning rod
I have the 7'2" mh cronos spinning rod but wished it had softer tip. Does anyone know how the Randy Howell power spin compares? Has anyone fished both these rods?

Re: Tatula Elite 701MHR CRANKIN'
I haven't fished it but did cast it around the yard of local shop. I fish the green handle rods it's based off of and it felt a little stiffer with more back bone than the old green MH cranking rods. I threw a 1/2 spinnerbait on the elite rod and casted great but didn't get to feel it on the water. ...

Re: Daiwa BG 3000 or fuego lt 4000
If your quest is long term durability I think the BG would be it. I have a smaller BG and think it is great, and while I have not fished a Fuego I have fished other reels in the LT line and think they are some of the best spinning reels made. The obvious difference is the one you already mentioned,...

Daiwa BG 3000 or fuego lt 4000
Help me choose. I'm aware of the weight difference but I'm leaning heavily on the BG. It will be used on tatula elite 7' mmh spinning rod or 7'2" mh cronos spinning rod for skipping shakey heads under docks.
