Re: Impressions of new Tatula rods?

seems like daiwa's moving away from their seats which really sucks. the airbeam is just so much more comfortable to me than any other rods i have. This dumb move will cost them a lot of money. They will figure it out. Best reel seat was the old green handle's, but I am really liking the Elites reel...

Re: Impressions of new Tatula rods?

Not digging the new reel seats. They're just like the Curado rods and I don't feel like the Tatula sv reel feels that great on them, but I did not feel a Tatula 100 on it. Really wished Daiwa would've went with one of their own reel seats.

Tatula 7'2" mh vs. Zillion 7'3" mh

I know there's an "inch" difference but has anyone fished both these rods? How does the tatula fish compared to the zillion? I know the spec differences. I just want feedback on how they fish compared to each other. I currently fish 1/2 - 3/8 oz. Finesse jigs on the zillion. Also consideri...

Re: Tak tat elite crank rod?

I haven't fished this rods but it feels a bit stiffer than the old TDS rods its based off of. Feels lighter and more balanced than the old green handles.

Re: Tatula Elite 7'-2"

video I seen said it was a multipurpose rod. I am wondering if it's going to be a shorter version of his 7'4"? I seen a video of Seth saying he used a 6'10" spinning rod at the classic this last year.

ish frog rod vs omori pitching stick

I recently seen a video where omori used Ish's frog rod for a finesse jig vs his pitching stick bc he said it was softer. Does any one have experience with these two elite rods. I just can't see a frog rod being softer than a pitching stick.

Re: Daiwa Fuego rods

Man I wouldn't hesitate to get it. I handled that rod at a local shop and was really impressed. I fish nothing but the old green tds rods and the old light and toughs and it felt like it would be on pare with those. I also used to fish the td advantage 7'3" and the Fuego felt way better hands d...

What rods do you thinks we'll see debut at the Classic?

Any of you guys see or here of any new rods that will debut at the classic? We know what megabass is bringing, but will companies be expanding current lineups or showing us something new? With the Zillions going bye bye I wonder if Daiwa will be doing anything special?

Re: What is the Tatula SV of rods?

I would look for one of the old LT daiwa rods if you're wanting it to have silver and purple highlights. Also the 7' H action regular bend was and is one the greatest jig rods ever. The newer Daiwa rods are lighter and bit more sensitive but I still reach for my old LT rods and I got both a Tatula a...

Re: Daiwa Tatula 7'2"MHRB or 7'2"HFB

Regarding the 7.2MHRb, do you guys thinks it’s “passable” for Use as a crankbait rod? I have one, but Don’t use it much since I got a similar (but faster action) g-rod. But I have nothing else that could be any good for cranking. Thanks! I owned the 7'2" HFB for a while before it broke on me :...

Re: 7'3" MH Tatula Elite vs. 7'3" MH Cronos

3/8 to 1/2 oz jigs for around docks and 3/4 to 1 oz. football jigs. The MH feels a little soft in the tip for larger flipping jigs and the barley handles the 3/4 oz football jigs. I am leaning towards getting the Cronos and then getting two of the 7'3" H rods. Just wished I had a Daiwa jig rod ...
