I'm 53 years old single guy, and my only vice is fishing. I have the tackle for almost everything, but I prefer to fish frogs/toads on top. I'm up before the sun rises and fishing as it goes down. Rarely fish between noon and 5 PM unless I am fishing a tournament.

So I bought a package of the real Teckel Tails on eBay for $13 (4 Tails in a pack) and also from the guy who's making his own tails and selling them on eBay. My favorite topwater is a hollow body frog, can't pick a favorite. Something about getting giants in the jungle that just gets me going.

I also use the Avid 6'8" for jerking walleyes. smallies, and lgmth and for topwater. I like it so much I have two of them. One of the rods is strung with Sunline Def. Armillo and strictly for topwater. I love, love, love the rod. Another rod I like for both is an IMX 783 MBR.

I use Berkley Craw Fatty's on them sometimes and caught some really nice fish.

I like to throw 1/4 or 3/16, I forget which size, Strike King Double Willow for smallmouth. I've caught some nice one's on Mille Lacs and the Rum River.
