Re: Chatterbait rod
My favorite for 3/8-1/2 oz is the combat stick mh glass. I own the heavy model and is tip heavy I don’t like it. My previous set up was a nrx mbr843c but I lost bites here and there. The mh glass is the best chatterbait rod I ever used. I throw chatterbaits sometimes all day long the hook up ratio i...

Re: Ready to Combat the USDM : Evergreen International's Jack Hammer
I don't like the Fuji acs reel seat and I don't like glass rods but I love this rod. I was fishing my 7MHG this past weekend and I hurt my hand after a few hours of jerking the chatterbait out of cover. I use a NRX MBR843C for chatterbaits and that's never happen to me. I love the rod besides the re...

Just like the Valdiva is 12" from butt to center of reel seat. Great rod love mine.MediumHeavy wrote:I also have a question that I might've missed the answer to in a previous reply, but what are the handle lengths on the FMJ and Valdiva? Butt to reel seat.

Re: First look at Megabass Destroyer USA rods
Gary, in regards to the 110 special, were you able to test how light of a lure it can handle? I am wondering if it may have potential to be a BFS rod? A staysee 90 is pushing it with how light you can go with this rod. I used it for 110's, pointer 127, and duo realis 120. It handled all these baits...

Re: New Steez TW ALUMINUM for 2017 !
Finally had a chance to fish with my Steez A and caught some nice smallmouth is a great caster 3/8oz and up not better than the SV spool when it comes to smaller weights under 3/8oz. The clicking drag only works when the drag is at half or less. I caught a 4.7 smallie and I had the drag at half and...

Is too cold in MN but hopefully I will this coming weekend. I can't wait to cast it hopefully it cast just as far as the SV. Hi! Many waiting here :D Have...

Re: New Steez TW ALUMINUM for 2017 !
They are in stock at The Tackle Trap, the LH models will be early April. Anyone who buys a new Steez A from TTT using the "TT10" discount code will get 4 Hedgehog Studio handle knob bearings installed at no charge. Unfortunately, the Steez A has none in the handle. Aside from that, it's a great fee...

Re: New Steez TW ALUMINUM for 2017 !
I received mine yesterday. Love the added weight over the sv tw and it feels more solid their is no play on mine very smooth. I hate the cheap drag star. No bearings in the knobs. Will replace both of those soon. I said this before my thumb hits the tw line guide cause the opening on the top and the...
