Re: Wacky Worm Rigging Question ?

Been reading for some time of anglers using the shrink tubing... where is it available and if sized, what size? oe You can get several feet aof shrink tubine onEBAY cheap, You want the stuff with a 3:1 ratio, I use 1/4 and 3/8. I use a lighter to lightly shrink the tubing and activate the adhesive ...

Re: Roboworm Ned Worms

Ive been using an odd plastic for a NED rig. overstockbait.com has Z-Man 5” grubs cheap right now. Pink sparkle and copper penny colors only. They float just like a TRD, and stand straight up off the bottom on a shroom jig head. It’s kind of a dual threat bait, work it like a swimbait, or kill it an...

Re: Daiwa Zillion handle

Thanks ... I’ve always just replaced complete handles before. Do I need a special tool to get the caps off? I don’t want to scratch things up being a dumbass.

Daiwa Zillion handle

I just picked up a Zillion HD TW. It has those huge foam knobs and I’d like to swap them for more normal sized knobs.

How do you remove the knobs?

Will any of the Daiwa RCS knobs fit?

Or would I be better off to get a whole new handle assembly?

Re: Looking for a low cost ML casting rod

I ordered a Kuying Teton through Ali-Baba. It arrived today, looks great unfortunately it broke before I could make a single cast. Mounted a reel and a 1/16 Oz roadrunner. On the back cast the rod broke about 8 inches forward of the ferrule joint. I opened a “dispute” with Ali-baba, we will see how ...

The Tatula CT100P Gear Set is 5.5:1 and drops right into it.

I’ve got one that’s been tuned up, I like it but it’s an 8:1 ratio. Would love to make it a 5:1 or as close as possible.

Where would I get these gears?

Yo-Zuri sashimi jerkbaits

Has anyone else bought any of these? They are $14 on the website, but under $5 in the Wal Marts stores, where I’ve found them. The bigger stores seem to hav them, always in a fairly small box. They will have lots of floating pins minnow baits, I haven’t bought any of those. But I have found about a ...

Re: Crappie rod

This is right up my alley, we have several semi private lakes here, loaded with a variety of bream, and small spots and largemouth bass. The best true ultralight I have is a 6’ Daiwa Presso, with a 1500 size Aird reel. I’ve used it with both 2 and 4 # line. Caught a lot of fish with it, up to a 3# s...

Remember the US Reels? The ones with the huge spools? I have three of them, use them all the time.

Re: 13 fishing ambition/kids rods

I picked up a couple of them in 4.5 and 5 feet. My plan was to use them for shooting docks. They are rated as ultra lights, but have a lot more backbone than other ultralights I own. I have mine paired with 1000 series reels, they are dandy little rods for bream and crappie, and small bass.
