Pier Plugging reel for Blue Fish and spanish? 4500 vs 3500?
Ok guys, I just got a Penn 4500 Spin Fisher for plugging gotcha plugs off the pier for Blues and Spanish. My question is do you think the 4500 might be too large for all day plugging.... I can exchange it out for the 3500 no problem. I like the line capacity on the 4500 vs the 3500, as I also predic...

EPIC FAIL! 6 hours without even a bite! Very different water then what I am used to! That and it was a thousand degrees, oh excuses excuses...... I was yelling at my girlfriend about paddlen all loud so that was my excuse to her haha

Every river is different but I do a lot of kayak smallie fishing on a local river here. It's always good to have an anchor system on your kayak for river fishing and to make sure it's quick release with a float. As for lures I use a lot of crawdad imitation plastics like R2S Yabbies and senkos here...

OK guys gonna make this short as I'm on a tablet. This will be my first time fishing from a yak in a river for am bass. I'm leaving tomorrow morning.. Considering thetackletrap stays sold out on the honeycomb spool...and from 2 mouth (or email of two of the most prominent members) the mob honeycomb spool is the cats meow!!! I have a strange feeling these things are being kept under wraps! The honeycomb spool is a real gem. I have one in an IS71HL...
