Agreed, but maybe the sensitivity will outperform its dull looksjustgopen wrote:Meh, these rods look way too plain, boring. The IMX-Pro looks like a better fit for the new Curado's.

Re: First Look Inside the New Shimano Curado K Series Baitcasters
Does the thumb bar now sit a little lower? I liked my Chronarch CI4, but would occasionally trigger the thumb bar as I was jigging. In these pictures, it looks like the thumb bar is much more compact and in line with the frame of the reel, something that should prevent these misfires for me. Pic on...

Re: New Curado 200/201K
I have never heard a report of the plastic worm shaft being an issue, as a matter of fact, it seems to me the pawl seems to go before the shaft has issues most of the time. I am assuming the Metanium/Chronarch have the same size teeth as the Curado? Or are there 3 different sizes of Micro Module ge...

Re: New Chronarch G
MGL is more than just a spool. The MGL spool will perform better, but you will not get the whole performance potential by simply changing the spool with this reel. The same is true with Metanium. This reel has a different spool specifically for use in saltwater. If you are a bass angler, get the MG...

Re: Chronach G
I would much prefer the aluminum version of the Chronarch to keep the lineage with the classic models. Don't get me wrong, the Ci4+ material is nice but aluminum I think would be more solid. Keep all the principles of the MGL and just replace the carbon-based material with metal. The G reel may act...

Re: Chronarch MGL Mechanical Brake Knob
Are you talking about the cast control knob? If so, anything that fits the Chronarch CI4 should fit the MGL as ive just successfully swapped CC knobs between the CI4 and MGL.
