Don't ask... Bitcoin is finally running again though at least.
Took the Zillion TW with me to Venice Louisiana earlier this fall on a Redfish trip. It put a whooping on some big bulls and didn't miss a beat.

Re: Daiwa's new reel??
I agree with those that think the frame is based on the Steez A/SV TW.

Re: Spool Question
Most of the replacement spools with the narrower axles have slightly smaller spool pins also. It seems to make the spools have some ability to rotate forward and back a bit when the handle is held in place. Under load it doesn't make any difference, but it might about some users in slack line presen...

Re: Googan Squad makes the best rods
No reason to hate. I enjoy a lot of the Googan Squad content. Some of it is intentionally silly, but a lot of it is better than the fishing shows I watched on TV growing up. It reminds me of growing up fishing with my friend and family and occasionally doing dumb things. I don't have much interest i...

Re: TackleWarehouse leaked my Credit Card
I stopped worrying about my credit cards getting stolen years ago. Be sure to use an actual credit card and not a debit card and you are essentially free from risk. Any fraudulent purchases are guaranteed to be covered by the credit card company and refunded to your account. Usually, they catch them...

He had the same kind of cancer my wife does. No cure. Very depressing. RIP to a legend.

Re: TD-Z Spool Options
The RCS 1012 & 1016 spools are good for that. The Zillion SV spool is good as well, as are the ZPI spools.

How tight do you have your spool tension set? Does adjusting it make any difference?

Has everyone else received their Zillion preorders? I ordered a RH 7.1 in January from TT and still haven't got it.

Re: SV103 CS Legit or not?
So the real question is when does it show up for sale outside of aliexpress...I can live with the color until it gets a coat of alumahyde. The CS Reels are exclusive to the Chinese Market so the Alis, DHGate, BangGood, GearBest, and eBay are your best bets. Is customs still slow under the new admin...

Re: Why do we care about guide insert?
I've never had a problem with Alconite guides and can't justify the price jump to SiC or Torzite. In the small guides i use for casting rods my digital scale can't even register the weight difference of the entire set. For larger spinning rod sets there is a large difference in weight though.

Re: Do you want Daiwa to keep on using the T-Wing on everything they release?
I like it on some reels, but it certainly has never been a reason that I bought a reel. I would rather have a slightly wider version of the OG TDZ/Zillion line guide that magically self centers.
