Does anyone have a rough estimate on when they think the next Exist will debut?
Most likely 2022, with 95% confidence interval.

The cycle for the popular models is generally 4 years.

Mend-it glue drying up

I have a bottle of Mend-it from 5+ years ago, still has more than half a bottle left but the content has dried up a bit - it's now all gelatinous which makes it very hard to get onto the brush and apply. Any idea what resolvent I can use to give back its youth without ruining it? Acetone? :-k

Re: Anyone have experience with Deps HS1N-76R?

That's a long shot for sure.

I did contemplate on the idea of getting the shorter 6'6 version. Looks like a versatile heavy spinning rod. Curious about the low rider stripper guide's effect on casting performance though - certainly makes it easier to pack cf. regular large diameter stripper guide.

Re: Feed Lures Jungle Bash Rods?

So how do you like them? The xxxh looks like a great contender for kayak pike/musky rod. I chickened out and ended up with a purpose-built short frog rod from the JDM Daiwa Black Label line. The more I read about these short heavy game rods the more I began to think that they would be too heavy for...

Re: 4000 Spinning Reels for 7'6" L Rods

The gain in casting distance aside (probably would only be marginal), I think a heavier reel would help to balance the outfit a bit better esp. one intended for rod tip-up techniques.

Re: Bass Fishing Bycatches

This happened some years ago when I was fishing a remote part of the Northern Territory that is renowned for its fishing here in Australia. I was casting into an unlikely patch of shallow water from the shore just for the heck of it, and to my surprise the Sasuke 105 was followed and eventually engu...

Re: Anyone use the Bone Combat Beast or Black River rods?

I was not impressed with these rods when I handled them at my local shop which pretty much had the entire range in stock at the time. To me, majority of this brand’s offerings were way too stiff. I was also on the look out for a short and versatile travel rod for an upcoming trip and ended up getti...

The SW version is a solid performer for me and accounted for many good fish.

One of my go-to high-end PE line for heavy duty (PE3 and above) lure fishing is YGK Castman Full Drag. I don't think it's the thinnest but it sure is durable and reliable. Expensive but worth trying out to see how you like it. are you talking about this line??? http://japantackle.com/lines/pe-braid...

Re: Shimano World Shaula

A bit disappointed to see that they have replaced the wood portion on the reel seat with plastic on the spinning models. But I like the addition of 3-piece models (i.e. handle, lower 1/3, and upper 2/3)

Re: Shimano World Shaula

A whole new line-up is coming up in 2018.

Better blanks, better guides, with jigging handle available (for extra $)
