X2 for frogs

However for every thing else I use a split ring. It gives the same amount of movement as a loop knot but allows you to tie a stronger knot.

Re: Need t-rig rod sub $200. Suggestions?

I know it may not be the best looking rod out ere but I would recommend the st croix avid 7ft mh. It is my main trig rod and I love it. It has enough power to drive the hook home and keep fish away from cover. Plus it is very sensitive.

Spinning blanks being built like bait cast rods

I looking to build my first rod for finesse baits down to 1/16oz. I know I want a bait cast rod but is it possible to use a spinning rod black and build it like a bc rod because I am having a hard time finding a blank to the specs I like that isn't spinning.

Re: Chronarch CI4+

Honestly I think there shouldn't be aroblem with the CI4 as the frame material.(If I m correct) Look at the Stradic CI4 which use the material as the frame material and its a great reel. Also the CI4 should help with weight loss so that's another plus in my book. In general I am pumped for this reel...
