Re: GlX 843C MBR vs Kistler Zbone light medium heavy 7'

The glx843c is super versatile, i have one tied for smallies and largies everytime i go out. dark sleepers, senkos, spinnerbaits, chatterbaits, light texas rig, tubes, all work great on this rod. 1/4 to 1/2 is mostly what i use it for.

Re: New Antares

Its built like a fine rolex and will handle heavier just fine. Compared to my Bantam MGL it's better casting and more refined. Dont think daiwa has anything that compares that I've used lately. Maybe a jdream.

No. That was 904C for flipping.
Have you set the hook yet?
I’m interested to see how that went?
I caught a few, nothing bigger than 4lbs. Great reel, very smooth when flipping and pitching. Even bombed a few and it brake is very controlled and smooth. So much like my ZPI mag metaniums.

Re: Shimano Stradic 19

I just bought one second hand Stradic FL, BNWB completely unused for a third of its price... Stripped it down and pictured the heck out of it for others. What can I say is that its quiet a bit parts heavy compared to the FK but pretty well remade and better spec than the FK. Adding bearings in the ...

Re: New Poison Adrena

I have NRX 843 and old style GLX 844, looking for a longer rod somewhere with power in between these 2 for trigs. Is 73mh lighter in power than glx 844? I have 843C, 844C and the Adrena 73MH. I would say the 73mh has more balls than than 843 but not as much as the 844c. It similar to my 873c nrx. S...

Re: New Poison Adrena

For those who have or have tried the 7'2" Heavy... do you think the action is right for it to be a heavier jig, flipping/punching, and frog rod? I don't need an ultra stout punching rod. Thinking it could be good for 1/2oz and 3/4oz jigs, up to a 1oz tungsten for punching. My Helium3 7'H seems like...
