Re: How will they compare Fenwick / G.Loomis

Most people will say the loomis mainly just because of the name. I own an elite tech walleye and its a very very nice rod at a very nice price. As far as sensitivity goes I put it up there with the Gl3 no problem. Its much lighter and a bit more sensitive than the new crucials (more expensive). I th...

Re: Megabass and Luckycraft

Try H2O academy express jerk baits (suspending dives down to 7-8 feet, floater can get down to 3-4ft). Not as good as the original pointer but it has more bang for buck imo. They also have Sammy knock offs which are actually very decent as well. edit: Only bad thing is that they only offer one size ...

Re: Lucky Craft Sasara 75S

I haven't fished the Sasara but I have fished the live pointers. The action on the live pointer is good and very realistic but I had a good size pike tear off the segmented half. I probably got a lemon but I won't be buying it again.

Re: Shimano Chronarch 100d5 vs Chronarch 200e5

I own a Chronarch 200e7 and it's very nice, I've never owned a curado 200e so I can't compare it to that. I got to use my in law's chronarch D last season and I was very impressed. The D just feels solid and more refined and easier to palm. The funny thing is (local shop) he got the last Chronarch D...

Citica G ticking during retrieve

I pick up a used citica g/w problems for a good deal. When I reel it ticks. The drag also doesn't click when adjusting. I took the reel apart and I find that the thing causing the tick is the anti reverse but it looks like its in good condition? Any ideas? Or should I just send it in?

Re: Timber lures I've been making

Looks like something I'd buy at the shop. Just wondering does that pink/perch color (second one top right) have a scaly texture to it? These look awesome man keep it up!

Your most rewarding catch?

Sorry this is kind of long! So theres this lake close to my house. It isn't the best lake to fish but it holds my most rewarding moment fishing. This lake consisted of small sized bass (although abundant), blue gills, walleyes. I started to fish this lake extensively last year even though I've lived...

Re: Breaking the rules

I agree with dragon. I like using white on cloudy days but that alone shouldnt stop you from trying them on clearer conditions. Let the fish tell you what they want. I find that here in MN (or it might just be me) that the shell white color from lucky craft is very underrated. Its been the most prod...

Lucky craft Lipless pointer 170/180

Anyone try these yet? I was thinking about these for big lmb or muskies. For a musky lure it isnt overly expensive. Or if this one of those baits to stay away from. The lures have been out for a while now but tw just recently added it to their line up. What do you guys think?
