Re: High End JDM spinning rod help
I believe you can buy Zenaq through Plat. They have had some of the shore casting salt rods listed before and are pretty good about getting custom orders if you want to go that way.

Re: High end Jdm cranking rod help
The sedition rods are also available from bass.co.jp. That one is a beauty. I tried for quite a while to find the older white snake and I think this one looks even better.

Don’t think I will be able to resist now. I almost bought a wrong handed one and figured I would just get used to it.rocketsurgeon wrote:Oceanus jigging reel coming in lefty

Re: Conquest 300 vs Conquest 200DC (1st gen vs 2nd gen)
1) I think the 300 is overkill for a 2oz top end. It depends what you are using for line but I use mine on a rod rated from 2-4oz. In the 300 size I don’t see the need for non disengaging levelwind as the spool isn’t that wide. Also not sure if this is what you meant but on the 15’ model the drag is...

Re: Need help for Livre part
I think either japan Tackle or Hedgehog should be able to get them for you. You may need to order a new Center nut if they are not available separately. Either way you will probably have to email.

Re: Shimano Loomis Conquest rods
Anyone with significant time with the 905C yet? How does it balance especially compare to the 895c nrx which was worst in the line up. Thanks It's not nearly as tip heavy as the NRX 895, but yes, it's still tip heavy to some degree. Gary I think I need a 744 need a ultimate jig rod 844 I'm guessing...

Re: Megabass Black Jungle vs Destroyer TS Series
I have had both the SRD and still have the Baccarat. The handle lengths are the same or close enough that I can’t remember there being a difference. They are both nice but fill different needs. I would say it depends on what you are casting. The SRD could cast as low as the specs stated but was best...

Re: size comparison please
I think the current model 300 and 400 are almost the same, the 400 just gets wider to accommodate the spool. I hope my previous generation model in the top pic doesn’t confuse anyone. I had taken these pics a couple of years back when the new ones came out. They really made the palm side plate much ...

Daiko is no longer making rods. You would need to find a used or old stock one.

Re: 2018 Stella
10 - 15g less weight on equivalent sizes. They have either changed the way they rate “practical drag pressure” or it has gone down quite a bit according to the table. The C3000 went from 6kg practical and 9kg max down to 3.5kg practical and 9kg max .

Re: Looking for a deep spool for Conquest 101HG
I could have sworn Avail made a deeper spool for the Conquest! I had th same thought as you about wanting a spool with greater capacity. https://www.hedgehog-studio.co.jp/product/1864?transactionid=ca7057a19c776dc0c2bd781ab31e92dc8af92924 Listed as 100m of 14lb vs shimano listing the stock spool as...

Re: Stella or vanquish
Rumor has it (alan hawk) a 2018 fw stella is on the way I had thought that this might be the case. They have been replacing it every 4 years. 2006, 2010, 2014, and hopefully 2018. On the op’s topic. I have a 2010 Stella and a 2016 Vanquish and while the Vanquish is a really nice reel I still like t...

Re: BFS UL OR XUL
I received a report from an experienced baitcaster who bought a Shimano Calcutta Conquest BFS HG. He said he could cast the 1 gram Owner JH-85 jighead alone (without any plastic) 40 feet. One gram is just over 1/32 oz. He used the same Shimano Trout One NS B50UL that you have. I think he could do a...
