Re: Abu Garcia Revo EXD
Makes even less sense since the discontinued the alx and brought dual braking in for the al-f which replaced it

Re: Your favorite obscure reels
Dual braking skeet Revo.
A souped up generation 1 revo premier so all aluminum. Longer power handle but a few were made with dual braking before the generation 2 revos came out.
Got mine for $70 bucks and it is still smooth as glass

Re: Breaking Free of Middle Child Syndrome, Abu Garcia's Revo4 STX
Great review but I noticed one mistake. You state handle length is the same as the previous generation but the generation 3 stx had an 80mm handle and the generation 4 has 90mm handle

Re: How fast is too fast?
I certainly love the ergonomics of the new generation 4 series. They feel much more solid in hand. This one is intriguing just for the crazy speed factor

Re: Kast King reels
What?! I don't understand all your hatred and poison spewing nonsense. Other "resource" site moderators are better fishermen than anyone on this site and only fish gear they truly believe in. I read all the time how their reels are put to the test and are solid reels for the money. They chime in on...

I think he is referencing that the concept z had the longest single cast out of the whole test at like 212 feet. The k had the highest overall average

Re: I don't understand Enigma Rods
I actually own 2 of the phenom rods and they aren’t bad at all. Granted, I got them for $60 as opposed to the $100 they go for. I can only assume they count each big batch they get from China is a new generation.

Re: TW clearance sale of Daiwa sv105 and sv103 ... ???
So is daiwa forcing us into the tws reels? I have never owned one but really never got excited about them. This may bring the price up on the og zillions if that is the only non tws heavy-duty reel we have to choose from. I am praying that they have something up their sleeve for a classic release. ...
