Re: how many packs of plastics do u have?
I've got way more than I'll ever need really. I pack two shoe box sizes with me on most trips and most of the time I end up only using 2-3 different baits. Better to have them than not and be sorry!

Another vote for the Rapala DT 10. You can find them pretty affordable in stores around 6 bucks a pop and they work great.

Re: Do people really think line should last a whole season
I'll generally switch out line once a month from April-September those are when I fish 5 days a week. Call me weird but after putting a brand new spool of line on it gives me some confidence and it's just nice to fish with it.

More often than not I use the 1.0. The 1.5 I'll use if I'm searching for a bigger bite.

Tying those extends the life of the bait X 2. I haven't used this jig much but have been impressed with the little time that I did.

Thanks for the replies guys, I'm going to check out the 50E a little more and definitely the Alphas type F.
I couldn't imagine fishing crankbaits with a spinning outfit it would drive me bonkers!

Finesse Cranking Reel
I'm looking for a crankbait reel that will go really well with throwing light balsa baits. Nothing really more than a 6:3:1 gear ratio. Love my winch but it doesn't handle the lighter baits as much as what I want it to. I'm really thinking of going with something Daiwa doesn't matter if it's JDM or ...

Re: Maximizing as a co angler
I've only really had experience in fishing against the guy in the front of the boat. I pay as much attention to where he fishes and the spots he misses and usually follow with a finesse approach such as a weightless senko. Most importantly fish where he hasn't this will help tremendously.

Re: Getting A Frog Ready To Fish
I've used the Optimum frog and was pleased with it. I ended up taking the blade off because it seemed to catch on imaginary objects but overall I liked it. Still own 2-3 but Live targets have since replaced all my frogs.

Re: MB Dorum?
Yeah I was hoping that someone here would chime in with some experience or thoughts on the bait. I seen they've got a 4" model that doesn't seem overkill for the waters here in Ohio at least it wouldn't be for some of the private waters.
MB Dorum?
Has anyone fished the megabass dorum yet? I've made a feeble attempt at seeing if I could find any videos of the baits action but I only saw one. I'm looking for some feedback before I pony up the cash

Re: How is your PP Slick holding up?
The color wore off very quickly and it frayed like none other. Had it spooled up on two reels for about 2 weeks then I threw it in the trash. I'll stick with Sufix 832.
