Re: keitech swim impact
I use Owner hooks with CPS as they seem to work well with very soft keitech baits. But yes, they do only last 1 or 2 fish. I will continue to purchase them over the fake ones though

Re: Okuma Ceymar
The new Shimano Catana is relatively affordable at $50 and its surprisingly light at 7.6oz for both 1000 and 2500 class. It's also red frame so maybe well suited if she like red color? If you can stretch budget to $90, Symetre is awesome.

I've tried applying protection coating on jig but came up very easily. I just don't care any more as it's bound to happen.

Re: Jackson Super Trickster
Not sure about Jackson rod but it might be the bonanza coating where some JDM manufacturer apply to rods for protection. These are not permanent so that might be why? Evergreen Heracles use them as well but Im not 100% sure, just my opinion. link here if you can read Japanese http://fishing.bonanza-...

Re: Dobyns Champion Extreme HP video = new DX rods
Just got a DX742 HP and with the few trips I used it on I was very impressed. Now I plan on upgrading my other DX rods. May I humbly ask you if you can post a small review on DX742? I'm very interested on that particular model and would like to see how much it weighs, the upper limit on lure weight...

Re: In search of new rod for 3/8oz+trailer light hook jig
All of the information I've received from this forum so far has been super helpful, I cannot thanks enough! I'm convinced that I will first try out the new Legend Elite 7ft Medium fast. I'm guessing that this one might be the ticket with typical st croix medium power and fast action (I've heard that...
