Re: 2017 Scorpion DC Handle Replacement Options

Most current Shimano casting reel handle will fit, I've replaced all of my Shimano HG reels that came with 84MM handle with 90MM -18 Bantam MGL XG handle assembly, including my 17 Scorpion DC and added couple more bearings, 96MM from other models should also fit with no problem. I know Curado 71 HG...

2017 Scorpion DC Handle Replacement Options

I was wondering if someone can help resolve my scorpion reel handle length issue. I was looking to replace my 2017's scorpion reel handle due to being too short. Do you guys think the Curado 71 MGL's handle would fit on my Scorpion. (Would you know how long the Curado 71 MGL's handle?) And/or do you...

Re: Ultimate Drop Shot set up

When I initially read the thread my first question was , are we talking casting, spinning or both?

Re: Ultimate Drop Shot set up

my go to drop shot set up is Dobyns 742c extreme 2nd gen and shimano core 51. the reel is lined with 8 lbs gamma fluorocarbon. the set up is perfect of 1/4 oz weights on the tail end or weightless flukes, and senkos.

I don't know what to say or where to start on how to perfectly describe him, let's try, this guy is super great to deal with and a great communicator. He's very understanding and more passion about the sport or hobby than anything. I bought a couple of reels from him with better than expected surpri...

Re: "Older" Shimano

I've had many of the following reels Chronarch D's, Curado E's, Chronarch 51mg's, Core's through my fishing life, which is about 32 years. The last 15 of those years are spent solely on bait casting, I love my Core's, but I miss my Chronarch D's. I regret selling them. I don't own very many spinning...

Re: Hedgehog always sold out

I'm looking for a lot of custom color parts for Daiwa and Shimano. Nothing too exotic just Hedgehog seems to be the only place that has the...
