How are they different to a bowfin? I caught a lot of bowfin in South Georgia, my PB so far is ~7lb. Body shapes are similar, but the fins are different. you're not using the right URL address... you need to right click on the image and "copy image url" ... not the URL of the page. ... it's https://i.imgur.com/BjXMRPQ.jpg for this one.

I think you'd be better off getting a CB radio like the inshore/offshore guys use. Greater range and you can likely tune directly into an emergency channel that's monitored by emergency response agencies.

Thanks SJ, yes, we are aware. Loomis is the only one that uses that terminology. Their "2" power in a bass rod is a light.
