Re: ABU Revo STX

I don't own one but have used one on the water. I would say it compares to the Curado. Built wise it's solid. The Curado 100D size uses graphite side plates while the Revo STX uses aluminum on both sides. If you compare features, the Revo seem to have more and better features than the Curado 100D. W...

Re: Shimano and Centrifugal braking

I believe them companies just wanna be innovative. Try new things and introduce new things. They gotta introduce new products yearly. But at the end they will still go back to what they are best at. Look at daiwa, they are stickin with their magnetic system and workin good. Shimano seems to be stron...

Re: Daiwa Procaster 100HN

The combinations at BPS and Cabelas are good. But most of those rods
aren't all that great in quality. Like June Craw said, I would spend
the $40 on a rod like Shimano or airrus.

Re: Prefishing A Tournament From Bank???

Don't get too stuck on one pattern or whatever.
A shift in weather, wind, and pressure can change it.
Just be ready to toss your confident baits that day.
Pick up some fish first, then go get the big guy.

I've been reading your reports, and from the way it is going don't
think you and your brother have to even get a bass rig.

Those look pretty realistic. Heard live crayfish works well, but I guess
if you're dragging them down below will work great too.
Have you lost any to snags?

I'm not into saltwater fishing, but how come I don't see more
big game rods built this way if it sounds so beneficial?
