Re: Chronarch D7

Maybe you can fish a few of his reels before buying or take a practice plug and test them out. At least you can see how they cast, how they retrieve, if anything feels rough or noisy. Then you take that into account along with the exterior condition and determine a value. I bought one that had an ex...

Re: Show off your stuff

Good stuff Cristo! Love the customization even if someone of it looks like candy, jewelry, or over the top! Most of my reels have some dress up parts as well usually to pick up an accent color from the rods. Your setups look great I can tell you prefer the finesse part of it!

Re: What is the Tatula SV of rods?

First thing that came to mind was something like the spinnerbait special in the Orichi XX line. With those rods being discontinued I am not sure how easy it is find one new but perhaps second hand.

There is always a custom build to when all other hope is gone for production rods.

Re: New Powell Endurance line coming

I also have a prior Endurance rod. Looking at the specs and price plus looks I like what I am seeing. Really think I will be adding one of these. It would be hard to envision a better sub $150 rod if they perform as good as they sound and have the balance and feel to go along with their weights.

Re: Rod for calcutta conquest bfs?

What # line are you using? Perhaps going to something smaller would help some.

I would be looking at a ML or Light rod. The Majorcraft Speedstlye rods would be a good option.

Re: Reel Boxes

I keep the boxes for several reasons: 1. I can keep the schematic, warranty info, misc tools or oils plus any parts I swap out. For example I swap the stock bearings, handle, or various reel parts, I can keep the originals in there should I choose to put it back to stock 2. The box adds more value t...

Re: Tackle Warehouse Black Friday pricing policy?

From what I recall you simply add the items to your cart, proceed to checkout, go through the entire process and pay and submit your order. Then what you should see is that after they have reviewed the order the prices for the excluded items like say Lucky Craft for example will be shown on the new ...
