Re: Do you think Megabass will ever make another reel?

Doubtful, they seem to be catering to the masses. Cheapened products, large production runs, and expanding product and color offerings of baits. The enthusiast market is slim. The fishing community and social media community is huge. Much more people concerned about the new cheapened Mb rods and bai...

Re: Cork knob for Tatuala LT 3000-CXH

Lots of places have them. Most you can buy an individual knob so you don’t have to worry about being stuck with an extra. If you are looking for the natural cork look their are OG Daiwa Works cork knobs, RCS corks or plain Daiwa corks which like RCS corks but no writing on them. TackleTrap and HH St...

Re: Alpha 105sh Sv

Most Alphas can take:

5:8
6:8
7:2

There may be others that fit as well but these should cover most bases. Some Alphas Variants like the Air and the CT SV I am not sure what sort of compatibility they have with the older Alphas reels.

Re: Steez CT SV strength

Not sure how it would fair for such a large drag taking fish. It has the audible drag so you can hear the fish taking drag like a spinning reel. However I am not sure how much stopping power the reel has? I would look at doing a drag upgrade to Carbontex to see if that can add a few more lbs of drag...

Re: SV103 CS Legit or not?

Seems like a good deal to me. Almost looks like a Zillion HLC/SV103 mash up. Looks really clean and in great shape. I would probably swap the rest of the red for purple or vice versa. Not a big fan of combining multiple colors myself

Re: Are you still using any of the OG Alphas?

Something must be off with my purple SV spool then. In both an R edition and a Sol, it is a launcher. Yea, I think results vary widely. The sticky inductor may explain some variance. I had a brand new SV105 I bought from Japan. It was hit or miss every cast and every time I used it. It would be a l...

Steez CT.

I have a tuned TDZ that is crazy smooth.

The Alphas CT SV is also up there.

Re: Zillion HLC... the neglected child

Anything a 1/2 oz and up. Whopper poppers, bigger chatterbaits or spinnerbaits, lipless cranks.

If the spool is too wild plug in a Zillion 50th or a standard zillion spool.

I am not a fan of the 100m spool in an OG Zillion but many are.

Re: TD ito 103m parts

Good luck finding anything! That reel is quite old and the parts have been discontinued for years. If it is RH nothing past a 6:3 gear ratio but LH users have a 7:1 option. Your best bet would be try to see if you can find a parts reel for the gears or see if someone has an extra set new/used that t...
