I use a TON of the ST-41s. I have bent them on brush and rocks with heavier line...but I would be shocked if you bent one with the straight pull of a fish. i like the 1st one. the 2nd one is rather large, and too big for my liking. i am going to the container store to see what i can find. usually i dont carry more than 1 spare spool with me.

i guess with different techniques of landing a fish would cause of terminal tackle to fail. i tend to horse them in. if i play them - well i get played!

here are the ones i use right now. i lost them for a couple months, and had to replace them. they work just find, but sometimes i find myself stumbling with the bigger baits.

i will keep the large texas tackle in mind during my next purchase.
