Re: Are there any Scented sprays or gels that work on plasti
I think most will work but JJ's Magic is the one I use most often. It's a dip that somehow seems to soak into the bait.

Re: Best Economic Rod with Limited Lifetime Warranty
I'd get one of the Citica's that The Tackle Trap has on sale for $99 and use the other $100 or so on a Shimano rod.

Re: Handle for Curado B
Does anyone know if the E series drag star will fit the older B series?

Re: Tackle Bag - Non Boater
If that BPS 370 is too small you may want to bring fewer things! That's one size up than the one I use and I fit everything I need but I do bring 2 small worm binders as well. Good luck on your search. You may want to check out the new shimano bags introduced at icast. They load trays in the front a...

Re: Good rod for throwing under spins/scroungers
Those Omen's do look nice for the money. I use a Dobyns Savvy 703c for that same application, as well as spinnerbaits.
Check out the icast video TW did on the 13 rods, gives a pretty good look at them.

Re: 50 size reels
Yeah, some good points have been brought up. There aren't many options if your left handed and want a 7:1gear ratio. Core 51Mg 7, or Chronarch E7. I wish they would make the Core 101 in a 7:1. Until then I guess a 51mg7 would be fine for most bottom contact applications but you would need to re-spoo...

Calcutta 100 D
Is the 100 smaller in stature or just narrower than the 200 size sold here in the states?

50 size reels
I got to thinking about this last night so I figured I'd ask. Talking about the Core 50/51 here: If the Core 50 will hold 85yrds of 12lb test and the 100 holds 90yrds, why would anyone buy the 100? Aside from the size of the reel there isnt much difference as far as I can tell between the 2. And if ...

Re: Highly Anticipated Goo bug
So I was reading about these and supposedly they are made with floating plastic. Is this the first beaver style bait that floats? Is that what's making them highly anticipated?
Trigger X isn't a brand I've ever used, do they make pretty good stuff?

Haha, yeah. You could even hear the unmistakable sound of the brakes spinning when he threw it, so not only was this impossible but pretty hokey too.muskyhunter wrote:Lol. He probably has 50 yards spooled.

Re: Supertuning a old Chronarch 101A.
Those 101A's look really nice, I wish I had been buying those 10 years ago instead of the Curado B's. I'd have no problem fishing those still. Nice job.

Re: Shimano Curado E video how do they cast like that???
That was definitely a trick. The new Antares will supposedly cast a lure 99-100 meters. The E series holds well over that, so he didn't spool it.

Re: Handle for Curado B
Ok, thanks. I was hoping that one would fit, I saw them on Tackle traps site and got to thinking. I don't have a problem sanding the drag star but it would be nice if it would go on with just a washer. I have 3 of these I have been sitting on because I prefer my newer D7's and E's but a modern handl...

Re: Boothroom breaks
Haha, I fish with a guy with some form of irritable bowel syndrome so it's something you have to deal with. We go to a ramp and he gets off and I keep fishing near the ramp. No big issue, it's good to take a short break in an 8 hour tourney. Not sure what the pros do, you aren't allowed to leave the...
