It has to be a scam. There is no way manufacturers would allow a company to sell their goods to the public at those prices. Besides as soon as a site has shoddy English I avoid them.

Thanks for the reply, I'll probably wait also. I wish someone local carried them so I could really check them out. What's some of the issues you've had with your Abu rods?

With each color the brakes are stronger or lighter depending on color. If I remember correctly the lighter the color the lighter the brake force applied. Abu Garcia Volatile rods
Has anyone used abu's new volatile series of rods. I know they are geared more towards inshore fishing but I was hoping someone may have used one. Open to your thoughts.

Shimano jdm brakes
I recently bought a scorpion XT 1500-7, like all shimano reels it came with extra brake shoes, clear and gray. Looking at the manual it seems like there is a difference between them. But since I can't read Japanese I don't know what it is. Does anyone know the difference?
