Re: Who even buys Quantum reels these days?
I have had good luck with the quantum kinetic and energy spinning reels for the fishing I do. I just received an energy 15 spinning reel that seems good out of the box.

Re: leader for bass, walleye, pike
Do you think the line diameter 7 lb. (.0086) has anything to do with it? I used to catch pike while fishing for smallmouth in creeks. I used 4 lb. (.008) at that time and do not recall being bitt off.

leader for bass, walleye, pike
Will be fishing in Ontario, for smallmouth, walleye, and pike. Will lighter fluorocarbon (8-15 lb. test) leader such as Seaguar Blue Label Fluorocarbon leader lesson the bite offs from pike. Would trilene XT in the same lb. tests be just as good? Any reccomendations are apreciated.

reel handles up?
over the years I have cast baitcasting reels (not a whole lot) right hand with reel handles up. I was thinking about trying a left hand reel casting with my right hand. For me, that would be reel handles down. Would the reel cast as far, smoothly as with reel handles up?
Thanks
Thanks

Mccoy mean green
I do a comparison between mono lines that I buy. It consists of pouring water into a bucket till the line breaks. Just wondering if any one has done any comparison testing with Mccoy (.011, 8 lb. would be nice, but not nesesary) and other lines?
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Short strike worm harness
you might look at this tool ( http://www.wigglerwormtool.com ). It would let you thread the leader within the worm.

good pliers for smallest split rings?
I use monofilament for small lures. I am starting to put small black swivels on the lures that come with split rings. I am able to succeed at this on some, not on others. I am wondering if any of you have a brand of split ring pliers that works well with small split rings?
Thanks
Thanks

Hi,
The revros LT, (REVLT1000) might work for you. I have not used it, but the old style revros felt alright in the store.

Re: Point blank measurement chart
At one time point blank listed ccs (commen cents system) values and I think also rda values. I don't see them listed anymore. If they posted the chart you want in the past, I think you may be able to get the information you want by contacting them.
